Has anybody watched this, is it consistently any good? I saw the first episode a while back and thought it was decent and had potential but it seemed kind of like the premise could get a bit old, should I give it a shot? I do love me some Karl-isms so I might go back and watch it just for that

People give Gervais a lot of grief but ‘Idiot Abroad’ is one of the finest travel shows I’ve ever seen and Karl at the village had the perfect blend of contemplative cultural exchange (helping the old folks sand their coffin) and comedic timing (Karl listening with horror to the woman beating the frogs to death for his dinner) What did we think of the Warwick season?

Like, I think I recall from listening to one of the podcasts that Ricky didn't know about the Israeli kidnapping bit before it happened, though in the show they made it seem like he and Steve set it up.
