There's a forest preserve every couple miles. These kinds of suburbs are great and I want to move there. However one thing you notice is that in this pic specifically all of the houses look different. There's variety because they were individually built by the owners. Newer suburbia districts are made by conglomerates that make dozens or hundreds of houses that all look the same and are cheaply built. THESE are the shitty suburbs people talk about that have poor infrastructure because theyre built first on flatlands with nothing around them and they expect the inbetween to fill in with commerical over the next 20 years or whatever. These types also rarely have nature beyond lawns and a tree here or there. But old suburbs are great and full of sovl
