Pluribus story says the aliens are uber vegans, so presumable they let the billions of factory farm animals out of there cages and yet we never seen any of them roaming around in 9 episodes so far... why?
>>217357927the moment they introduced the idea of the hive not being able to harm living things this was my first thoughtthe entire farming infrastructure immediately dies because they can no longer harvest plants or slaughter animals
>>217357927Well, the world is big. The scope was basically Carol and Manousos. But yes, this >>217357963opened a whole can of worms. We will get an answer, or not, in 2 years from now.
>>217357963they did show that 1 buffalo on the golf course.. the reality is there'd be 1000s of sheep, cows, goats, chickens, etc. swarming all over the place and yet this dumb fuck show never shows any of them anywhere.
>>217357963they should have emphasized how the hive still cultivates plants and animals in order to preserve the biodiversity of the planetthey could have done this and preserved the whole pacifist thing without such a broad strokes statement, such a dumb watering down of a concept in a supposedly "smart" show
>>217358081Eh, most of the show is set in a handful of cities. We see a few hints of animals roaming, but even given months of freedom the larger groups of animals wouldn't head too far into the denser urban areas. But yeah, a few quick shots of (starving) cattle or chickens somewhere would be appropriate.
