I liked the ending. I don't know what people fucking thought a kids show should end like. Also the finale of S5 Part 1 was so fucking sick with the Sorcerer shit. That was legit like ending of Scanners.

>>217368169The ending was lame and 99% of the buildup for the season resulted in nothing. Why did Vecna need the kids again? He should have kidnapped one of the main cast, maybe Mike. Mike and Max could have had a cool teamup instead of Max and some random kids we know nothing about. Also, what was all that stuff about Vecna being scared of a certain memory? Did that resolve at all? Not really, another few hours of runtime wasted on what could have been more Will the sorcerer stuff which was the only cool thing about this season. They could have spent so much more time doing cool stuff instead of wasting the last season bringing in over a dozen new characters. They could have built up towards the Mindflayer a bit more instead of just dumping that at the last minute, Palpatine style. They could have spent 30 seconds showing all the demogorgons being absorbed into the giant mindflayer body like in season 3 so that wouldn't be a glaring plothole. They could have had Will do more than break Vecnas arm at the last minute during the last fight, he should have snapped up the giant mindflayer or something, get revenge for what it did to him in season 2. That would have been way cooler. So much wasted opportunity.
