Have you ever worked in a fucking office? Working an email job from home in the modern era is retarded and gay but working in a shitty office sucks more cock than anything. It's fucking boring, nothing you do is engaging, everything feels like a waste of time, the people around you listen to annoying music all day long, you get a headache looking at shitty monitors under fluorescent lights. The first time I ever had an office job it seemed pretty cool and comfortable for about four months because you just sit in a chair all day. But after that it's a descent into an unending depth of boredom and emptiness and unjustified internalized violent anger at the completely harmless but EXCEPTIONALLY annoying middle aged people around you.

In the handful of jobs like this I had only one workplace was mostly young people who were OK to be around who were mostly good looking. That company took everyone on a weeklong vacation to CLEVELAND of all places where all we did was drink. Honestly--not bad. There's just something about people who are wired to do the same job in the same building in the same room for 25+ years that will drive you crazy if you are not them. I basically understand why we have this thread twice a day but trust me there is more to life than living single with enough money to afford an apartment full of IKEA furniture. That's not the dream guys. I'm sure it beats working at Arby's but corporate office worker is extremely low on the list too. Im positive that 90% of people would just not work in this kind of job if they will have backgeound income/some type of otherincome deal.
Its not just corp, even gov work seemto be trying to absorb corp work ethics recently.
I think i dont have to say all the bad things about it, because at this point its a common knowledge. Usualy the pay is alright, but its almost the only thing. Theres very small amount of people that really thrive in this shit, rest are just trying to get by more or less. After a dozen months any sane and self-respecting person is done with this soul crushing bullshit. Yeah its work but tell me how much do you want to spend 8-10h per day with some obnoxious people that usualy eithier dont know what they are doing, have low self-esteem and big ego or they are choleric and make argument about any small thing when they have their period. It isnt a direct hit on your character. Its a natural process, almost like erosion. From my expirience 1st year is usualy good, youre focused on getting better at your job and theres not to much tension beside learning the ropes, but the problems starts when youre not conforming to the standards. Fromsmall things to larger problems, you see how shitty your boss, coworker or just job is. People would quit tbis kindof job, anyone with minimal self respect would. Sadly people have loans and need the money more than they need mental health. Other people arent brave enough to quit, also there are people that jist dontgivea damn and they just repeat the motions - those are the sadest ones to me, because they are aware of this game.
If you cant deal withit after sometime, but at the same time you wont quit, youre gonna become mental. ive watched it numerous times and expirienced it one time myself.
Respect yourself in the first place, job isnt your creedand fuck anyonethat push to much on you just for the sake of their own ego.
