Why did Disney disown this movie?
>>217374576I was just talking about this. The answer is very simple: the film has one line in it that refers to slave times as the good old days. Walt Disney was warned about how the film would age, but he didn't listen, otherwise it's a harmless film. I love it and have a fully restored copy.
>>217374576It's full of beastly negroes.
>>217374576NuDisney hate black people being happy, they need them angry all the time as their pawns.
>>217374600>At least we had good food back then
>>217374749HahAll Disney has to do are one of two things:1: release the film with the line of dialogue cut out.2: release as is with Whoopie Goldberg introducing the film and making various statements to put the audience at ease. And she has volunteered to do it, but Disney has not budged.
>>217374576When I was in elementary school we had weekly assemblies where we’d all get to sing a song together at the end and ‘Zippidy Doo Dah’ was a frequent choice. School in the 80’s was based.
>>217374576boku no kokujin
>>217374576>Why don't you put my film on disney plus massa disney?
>>217374576It wasn't making money anymore. Disney kept it going well long enough to get international DVD releases.
Jews don’t want to acknowledge atrocities they had a hand in.
>>217374576it was mainly because of the tar baby scene I believe, as >>217374811 said, it was Whoopie Goldberg who drew attention to them mentioning a tar baby both in the book and in the movie and tar baby itself being a racial slur against blacks so Disney quietly disowned the movieto be honest it wasn't very good anyway... slow moving race relations cut with a few scenes of animated critters Lindsay Ellis used to have a movie on it but she's since deleted the whole thing so I guess it's lost media now
