Should I start watching this?
>>217375969Yes.The first few episodes are rough, just a heads up.
>>217375969>>217375989Without a doubt, Mister Garibaldi.Whole series is easily accessible for free at 480p.If i were u i'd watch on a CRT for comfiness.
Season 1 is a little weak, then they make some of the best sci-fi television with seasons 2-4. 5 is a little weak because they thought they only had 4 seasons before being extended. However the last episode is a very strong one. Overall it's a great show and one its done you'll look back fondly on the early episodes as the comfy ones.
>>217375969Yes

>>217378437Season 1 is fucking awesome this isn't tng dude
>>217375969Yes. First few episodes were a bit shaky, but after the episode when the rabbi visits and the crew performs Jewish rituals in the B5 synagogue I was hooked!
>>217379153>First few episodes were a bit shaky, but after the episode when the rabbi visits and the crew performs Jewish rituals in the B5 synagogue I was hooked!kek for me, as a Christian, it was when the angels in space suits arrived to exile the those space jews from the 10,900th space station
One of the few series that actually gets better as it progresses.Season 3 has some Kino episodes like the one where Refa gets BTFO
>>217375969You'll never find another series where one group of aliens beat another to death while gospel hymns play
>>217375969it was filmed widescreen safe but the effects were done fullscreenso DVDs were opened to widescreen on all live action footage but effects shots were croppedthey released a remaster 5 years ago but kept it fullscreen throughout for consistency which I hatethe did the thing TNG did where the effects shots have been normalized to match the frame rate of the live action footage which makes the show way more watchableso you chose is DVD upscales that are widescreen but have 90s jank looking effects, or the streaming remaster that looks great in HD but is stuck in fullscreen

>>217380323>>217378890>solves seemingly impossible to stop violence between bitter enemy rival factions by having a gangbang where they run a train on herCommander Ivanova gets it done
>>217380451I heard Claudia Christiansen would bang all the Babylon 5 fanboys at the conventions, but refused to bang JMS which is why she was written out.
>>217375969It's really worth it to keep on watching because it gets better and better and is unique among scifi shows
The biggest limitation on the show was the cgi for things like the interior station shots. They had a couple but they were quick, brief glances when now they could be very long and fleshed out shots of the amazing cylindrical surface everyone lives on. And how the trains ride in the middle. There's really only that one episode of Sheridan where he jumps out and flee floats towards the side walls needing to be saved which shows off the station's inside layout so well. Most of the others are inside rooms and hallways since of course that's cheap.
>>217375969I tried but couldn't get through it. The first couple of seasons were alright, but then when the main guy sacrificed himself I lost interest. It was never on par with Star Trek, Stargate, or Farscape even at its best. Mass Effeft is a better version of it.
>>217375969Yes, it's kino and hasn't been topped.
>>217381586That's because you're simple minded and first watched the shitty knockoff versions that stole everything from Babylon 5. It will always look bad when going back to watch the original after watching the derivatives.
