Laserdisc on a large rear projection TV is a more cinematic experience than streaming 4K on a 75" OLED
>>217377747VHS on a CRT is probably also a more cinematic experience than 4k streaming on a 75" oled.
>>217377747>>217377852idiot
>>217377747GET YOUR FUCKING FINGERS OFF THE DISC REEEEE
>>217377747I've seen both and 4K on a projector is superior by far.
>>217377868>Check out my 4 Mbit/s 4k stream. Doesn't it look good?
>>217377747I'm gonna go get one of those rear projection tvs that people are desperately trying to give away and turn it into a high def one and use it on my surround sound system. I'm going to see if you are full of shit or not.
>>217377747Okay but how the fuck there's a movie in there? Where?
The speakers in the 50" rear projection TV we had when i was a kid sounded better than any expensive sound bar + subwoofer. but the difference in picture quality between it and the LG plasma we replaced it with was night and day
DVD's on a CRT still look pretty good. especially in a dark room
>>217378424my bedroom is dark. and dank.
>>217377747>Laserdisc>Not a disk made of lasersMfw
>>217377747I have a laserdisc player, but I never had a projection tv because I though they kind of sucked, especially for the price. Had a 50 in flat screen CRT.
>>217377747Laserdisc is still 480p, numbnuts.
>>217379287425i
>>217379287it's below 480p
>>217377747i agree but 4k disc on either an oled or a quality rear projector is a much better experience than both.
rear projection tvs are dogshit compared to new oled
imagine having this setup in 1994
