Kurtzman-Trek fixes the transporter. Instead of disassembling and reassembling you, you walk through dimensions instead. I can appreciate that.
What does it fucking matter, also they should just say it's emulating Q particles or whatever
>>217382924>why does it matter if i die? As long as a clone with my memories is created?Would you be ok if someone created a clone in front of you then told you "now you can die"
>>217383095I would be ok with it even with no clone involved
>>217383095>"now you can die"about fucking time
>>217382094if thats true its a pretty bold choice to firmly establish nutrek as alt timeline.
>>217382094is it like noclip?
>>217382094The 32nd century transporter bullshit is because their audience didn't have enough attention span to watch a five second transporter sequence in a designated room so instead it is now instant teleporting with some sort of magical telepathic comm badge that somehow knows where you want to go without any commands whatsoever. And now you can teleport while moving around haphazardly instead of standing still, which is likely because the camera operators don't know how to keep their equipment in one place for two seconds and instead require every mundane conversational scene to have shaky cam to try and make things look more dynamic.
>>217382094There is no science in this science fiction show.
>>217382094How do they rescue injured people?
>he doesnt realize his sense of continuity is an illusion
>>217382094you don't like star trek; you've never watched star trek
