The worst episode of DS9 is Meridian.Any J*dzia episode really, except for the one with the TOS Klingons (purely because of the Klingons, Shitzia just drags it down and it would have been an even better episode if they did it like a couple seasons later and they would have just used Worf instead)
I actually like S1 of DS9 a lot and think Duet is massively overrated. It is so overwrought. I wish I understood what people liked about it.
