>hero gets beaten to a bloody pulp>villain gets graphically impaledI thought this was a kid's movie?
>>217385855Do you know any kid's movies with big erect nipples protruding from a wet shirt?
Past the age of 6-7, kids hate anything "kiddy" and enjoy this sort of thing. We used to understand and accept this, but over time we've become a society of faggot ass fags and soccer moms, so we pretend everyone needs to watch barney the dinosaur until they're 25.
>>217385855>>217385914those were the days
>>217385943BRO 6 7 !!!!!!!!!
>>217385855Yeah they were great and werent made for fags like you
>>217385855I love how brutal the whole fight feels even though there's not much happening at all. Keeping it on a smaller scale and avoiding CGI does wonders to make it look believable.
>>217386041Be glad you're online and not here in person. It's the only thing saving you from having your eyes gouged out.
>>217385943>6-7
>Peter, Dontell Harry???
>>217386077There are lots of elements that really sell the brutality of the fight. The sound design was also on point. I can still hear all the sound effects and Tobey screaming as he gets exploded into a brick wall.
It was PG-13
>>217385855Do you see any children there? Then its not a kids movie
>>217385914I refuse to see Wizards as anything but a kid's movie. Albeit a more mature example.
>>217385943>Past the age of 6-7, kids hate anything "kiddy" and enjoy this sort of thing. We used to understand and accept this,Very true. There's a reason that producers who think kids like watching other kids are laughingstocks. At around 9 or 10 I didn't even want to watch cartoons anymore. I wanted to watch Escape from New York, Conan, Deathstalker and the like. I was curious about what it was like to be a grown man and was just as curious about what grown women looked like.
>>217385855It was a movie where you go in as a kid but come out as an adult.
>>217385855many kids grew up on Robocop and Rambo and these were brutal movies as well
>>217385855It's insane, movies like this that I watched when I was 5 without issue, but would think twice about showing a 5 year old today
>>217386258If an explosion throws you any distance at all, it also raptures all of your vital organs btw
>>217386414When you're able to lift 20 tons we can assume your body is a little more sturdy
>>217385855Kids didn't become huge faggots until gen z
>>217385855a superior and more impactful fight scene than superhero flick since, although superman returns had a good one as well
>>217386414When you can bench press a moving train the rules are a bit different innit?
>>217385855My favorite movies as a kid were Aliens, Predator and Jurassic Park.
I fucking love seeing the hero get fucked up in a ugly way. His screams and impacts just sold it. Made the triumph all the better.
>>217386414he’s got spider organs
>>217386414Everyone is aware of how reality functions, doofus. That's why the film is in the FICTION category
>>217386237>hero gets beaten to a bloody pulp>villain gets graphically impaled>TV-Y7we used to make proper capekinohttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-KTsSJH2qRA
>>217386448Sam Raimi Spiderman movies came out when Zoomers were kids retard.
>>217387035>eyes rolled back Cool
>>217385855It was a very good pg-13 movie
>>217385855That already happened in the 70s comic
>>217386414Spider-Man heals much faster and better than normal humans. Nothing a good night's sleep can't cure.
>>217386125He was trying to remember that one ninja turtle everyone forgets about
I don't know about elsewhere, but in England, this movie actually made the government change the age restriction laws for movies. It was clearly for kids (adults wouldn't want to watch a superhero movie now, would they?), but it had enough violence to be placed as a 12. So 12a was born - anyone can watch it if they bring an adult. Great for Spiderman, bad for a lot of movies that followed being full of screaming children, because their lazy parents took them to see something with a torture scene.
>>217387332>something with a torture scenelike?
>>217385855Yes, and?
