Definitely do not start with Twin Peaks, it’s a badly paced unsatisfying bore only saved by a great cast of pretty women

In this order, and only what's on this list:
>dune
>blue velvet
>wild at heart
>twin peaks (pic related; just the green highlighted episodes)
>twin peaks: fwwm fan edit (not the comaland one)
>lost highway
>mulholland drive

In truth, all of his stuff is good, but much is really opaque and terribly redunant for what all amounts to the same basic themes in his work (excepting for Dune, which is in his hands a sci-fi Barry Lyndon). It's all subverted Americana, the eeriness of its underbelly, the perversions of its Dream, etc., etc. But you watch above and you'll understand the man and his impressions of this society and life in it.

Yes use QRD

I have just watched the first two seasons and I think it was in principle a good decision to actually solve Laura's murder. Imagine they had actually gone through with the McGuffin thing and would have ended with a Lost situation.
That said, I actually liked Dick Tremayne's antics.

Also, I have seen everything by Lynch except Dune and the Twin Peaks movie, and I must admit that I have never gotten lynched as hard as I did by Wild At Heart, and I can't even tell you why, and yes, that is explicitly including Lost Highway and Mulholland Drive.

Wild at Heart used to have a reputation as the worst directed movie ever to win the Palme d'Or.
It's baffling how Lynch just lets the camera roll while the actors give bad performances

I always thought it was deliberate camp.

Why do you feel lynched? I always felt it was just a road movie and a romance, funny and scary, one of his more accessible ones.
