It was a common joke on the show that's he gay, but apparently he's not, he's just very private about his personal life.
Although I don't think he's married (well, he may be now under the "common-law" thing the bongs have).
>>
>>217400219
Wow, they all aged like shit, including Hammond desu.

Not as old as you would think. That means he was still in his 30s when he started on top gear
>>
>>217399759
His YouTube's pretty comfy.

top gear at its peak was about as good as tv will ever get. what a whirlwind of things in combination at the right time that all came together to make it so great

>>
>>217401223
Nothing mindblowing but comfy enough if you are a May enjoyer
First series (Japan) is best then gets progressively weaker
>>
Chat is this real
>>
>>217401116
i also feel this way. they couldnt even fully recapture it themselves with the grand tour (barring a few of the specials which were really good like mongolia and the vietnam boat one)
>>
>>217401537
Top Gear was on the decline for years before TGT, TGT was basically the same shit as decline-era TG.
>>
>>217401537
tg was already getting a bit scripted and stale toward the end, there was no way grand tour was going to recapture the magic of years prior. i liked it for what it was, mostly, though.

times like jeremy's car door falling off during the british leyland challenge, the wind almost tipping his car over on the highway as he yells for dear life and james is laughing his ass off. james' famous 'hello' to the teenage girls. all the best tg stuff wasn't scripted
>>
>>217401094
For me it's drunk chess match with Hammond
>>
>>217401672
In pulling off the other 80% that was scripted in a way that made you genuinely laugh, they proved they are in only a handful of comedians who can do that.
Tg and MXC are the only shows that I have ever reflexively laughed at

its some sort of mandela effect, because you've seen them slowly age on television for 25 years you start to think they've always been old.
>>
>>217400219
I’d say James has aged the best, he has the Steve Martin thing where his hair has been grey since he was in his 20s.
Hammond has had enough plastic injected into his face to make a lego set and Jeremy looks like King Theodin before Gandalf cured him.
>>
>>217399759
He looks like the sort of guy that goes to Burger King.
>>
>>217399759
I'm albanian and i really like the albanian episode
>>
>>217401223
Japan one is great, haven't seen the others
>>
>>217400219
Angloids dont age well
