I'm schizophrenic and this is a fairly piss poor depiction of the illness.

What I find more telling is they were originally planning on making the film about a guy who developed schizophrenia but recovered and went to yale but the project was cancelled because he decompensated and killed his pregnant girlfriend so they made this hollywood fantasy bullshit instead of showing the actual reality of the illness
