To Anakin, their selfless actions were underscored by hatred of him and a philosophy that saw saving the galaxy as more a thing of the Force than doing something that's right morally. It's part of his whole conflict.By the end of the war, when Mace is about to kill Palpatine without even giving him a fair trial (be it fair for Mace to judge that), Anakin sees that his suspicions were correct (in his own view) and the Jedi are not willing to follow a government they don't control, deciding to break their own Code to execute Palpatine. Both sides are understandable.
