I saw a few episodes and enjoyed. Seeing the protagonist have a based father figure was nice too. Does the story have any ongoing arcs beyond the relationship with his dad, etc. or all case of the week? The show is fun and comfy enough that I want them to get into some fun with him having his own Moriarty (not necessarily in some le ebin ebil villain arc sense, it could be a guy who has similar gifts so his head to heads with his nemesis are essentially piss contests and bets with escalating but wacky stakes)

Imo S1 is one of the weaker seasons but it is still so good. This is my favorite modern day Sherlock TV adaptation and nothing comes close. Except maybe Monk.Also every season finale except S7 is fucking peak. IIRC S7 finale is either a musical episode (which you might like if you like musicals, but I don't) or it is the one which has Trout in it so me no likey.
