Up to this point of the film The Force Awakens was decent (not great but decent)>Finn and Poe have a good set up for their characters >movie has some mystery with Luke’s star map to a hidden planet >Finn and Poe are poised to become a “Buddy cop” type movie but in space Every after they are separated is garbage and the entire Disney Star Wars never recovers I’m not even sure what the point of the map was at this point . Did Luke make it ? Why ? Was the planet supposed to be some big secret ? It wasn’t a particularly interesting planet

TFA had some promise overall>rey mystery origin>snoke mystery origin>kylo ren is a good villain>finn has a nice coward-to-hero arc -- what's he gonna do next?Then they completely ruin everything in the sequels. Palpatine somehow comes back. Snoke is a Palpatine clone puppet. Rey is a Palpatine. Finn turns into Jar Jar Binks. Kylo Ren stays the only compelling part of the movies but can't save them. Ultimately I think Guardians of the Galaxy was a better Star Wars than the sequels. It's supposed to be fun space adventure.

JJ is too much of a pussy. it would've instantly added stakes. this is it's stupid when he comes back out of nowhere at the endfinn is still in a good place at the end but rian is a faggot and turned him into comic relief. instead of a defecting stromtrooper who breaks his programming, another missed opportunity. rian is a double faggot for completely ruining poe in the process to pump up holdo, who he kills anyway. issac was apparently upset with how poe was treated in 2 but the damage was done.
