son of the mask is one of those movies with a lot of "intention" and money behind it but it's torture watching it, compared with something that's "just" inexpertly made. jamie kennedy reminds me of that tim robinson skit where he has too much prosthetics on his body and he becomes suicidal, he can't act through the mask at all, it's just a big blob of plastic and green paint, it makes you feel dirty watching it. most of the movie is cartoon shit but done with bad 3d so nothing is funny or has that snappy cartoony rhythm, it's just excruciating. it's like watching a bleeding bloated animal dying for one and a half hour. it's one of those movies you can watch when staying at home from school having a fever and it'll make it the worst movie experience you ever had
