That's literally it. Most sitcoms now are 'get the jokes in non stop'. Imagine if instead of Doug just bing the 'funny guy', every converstion Carrie need at least one punchline, Deacon? He';s the black punchline. Arthur? The old punchline. Holly? ideally naked being walked like a dog
