We all know that s1-4 is god tier, and 5-8 is trash. My question is why? Were they contracted to do 8 seasons or something, or did key writers leave? I've never seen such a drop of quality in anything in my entire life.

Seasons 5 and 7 actually got mostly positive reception, at least initially. It's only 6 and 8 that are regarded as the real stinkers
