Everyone hates Reva because she was poorly written, poorly acted, poorly designed, and ultimately the show focused way too much on her when we were expecting a show called Kenobi to focus on that character. It really had nothing to do with her race. If the show had actually taken what Stuart Beadie's originally screenplay from the planned movie trilogy was and just made it into the show, people probably would have been way more accepting of Reva because her arc actually made sense and she ultimately sacrifices herself to Vader in order to keep Luke safe thus not fucking up the OT.Girl in OP was a minor character in two arcs of a two season show. I was annoyed that they shoehorned in this lesbian couple but Gilroy didn't make it the focus of the whole show and most of her time on screen she's focused on the job, not sitting there proclaiming"I'm gay!
