This hits different after a relative of yours gets dementia, it's scary how fast they turn into a babbling toddler
>>217413080Why do they keep him alive
is there anything scarier than dementia
>>217413080If I was a famous celebrity who just wanted to be left alone in my retirement and not accused of random shit that allegedly happened 30 years ago I'd also pretend to have dementia.
>>217413080>Hurrr dis hits different frfrDisgusting zoomer echo chamber lingo.
>>217413130>Everything is a conspiracy because... It just is OK?Get a life, kid
>>217413178>Get a life, kidThose elementary schoolers he fucked sure didn't
>>217413080I heard his family only put him in a home because they were parading him around on social media, but once the scrutiny got to much and people said they were milking it they decided they didnt want him around anymore
>>217413243proofs?
>>217413130like how you're pretending to have dementia now?
>>217413096he's not reliant on a machine so you have to. DNRs and things like them only apply if you need continuous medical intervention to live. he just needs someone to give him food and whatnot. its not legal to request to get old yeller'd when you go senile
>>217413178Get the vaxxpay the taxx
>>217413080I had to help some old guy the other day that fell down and has dementia, he seemed content, like in a different dimension floating away. His family was scared to death though looked like they were about to break down crying.
>>217413080poor guy
I disagree, the lingering alzheimer's is the scariest, which can last 10-15 years without degenerating any other function besides memory and the person eventually dies of old age not because of a degenerative disorder. But of course in the US of A there is no way to observe that since all alzheimers patients are heavily medicated with sedatives and the cognitive decline is chalked down to alzheimers instead of the medication
On his deathbed, as the final wave of feces hits the bed pan and his convulsing stops, his eyes open up wide.>How'd I do? I was acting.
>>217413289>its not legal to request to get old yeller'd when you go senileyes it is and euthanasia is murder
>>217413339no
>>217413080That sucks All of my grandparents made it past 90 (oldest was 97) and they lost their minds at around 85ishIt’s not fun watching after someone like that. They’ll eat cookies every hour at night and sometime forget how to swallow and choke, etc. Or they’ll forget that they at lunch and will ask for it again and start begging for food even when it’s clear that they aren’t actually hungry. I hope I don’t live past 75 lol.
>>217413080My Mum isn't at the babbling toddler stage but she has rapidly deteriorated due to Alzhiemer's over the last three and a half years. I hate it.
Legalise euthanasia, I want to put it in my will to put me down if this happens to me
>>217413080My nan has dementia, was diagnosed 2 years before he was and is shitting in diapers. She doesn't have a carer, only my mother and occasionally me looking after her. It doesn't hit different at all. It hits less because he has money to prop his braindead ass up. Give me some of that money and sympathy, but no thats beneath what you venereal diseased troons can achieve. Kys op you disingenuous cunt.
>>217413350I think this is why you had warrior cultures where men got into heaven based on dying in battle. They probably knew that getting old sucked and you might as well die at the peak.
>>217413409Perhaps your nan should have became a famous actor so she could of had earned some cash of her own to prop her braindead ass up as well
>>217413130He wasn't pretending. You can tell from all the Redbox/TUBI movies he made Bruce was barely lucid. He had to have his lines fed through an earpiece.
>>217413478(Same anon) I guessNot being able to raise your kids would be bad though
>>217413080>Raphouse TVBruce is going to be on a reality TV show next?
>>217413096>>217413289this is why robin williams committed suicide before it reached this point
>>217413520Yes we also saw that youtube video you dumb fuck
>>217413080this is karma for how he's been acting for the past thirty years
>>217413096I dont think they're legally allowed to take him behind the barn
>>217413080my grandma got dementia in her 80s and died from it. i wasn't around to see how it affected her because i was in the military at the timeshe's the only one in my family that had it so i hope i'm fucking clear and that shit doesn't happen to me
The 8 months I worked in a carehome did wonders for my outlook on life. I'm not so attached anymore because I saw old people with diabetic feet, I had to wash old men balls who had cancer and looked nothing like normal balls anymore, I had to carry a dead guy once because the guy died in the shower machine(it's a concoction where you put them and wash them from an angle), he was almost there but wanted a shower. It gives you a different outlook on life, I would recommend it because it helps on understanding life and death beyond academics. One that stuck to me, was this old woman, in her 80s, standing with a bag clutched to her right outside her room, saying that "her mom is gonna pick her up for school and she doesn't wanna be late".Yep, I'm not getting to 80-85.
>>217414151>military You're already brain dead bro.
>>217414151I hope it doesn't happen to you tooEat right and exercise
>>217414221>phonefag>aifagIt's already too late for you lil bro.
>>217414183I was care provider for my grandparents during the past two years of their lives, I can only partially understand (since at least they weren't strangers), god bless
>>217414183>I had to wash old men ballsfag lol
>>217414183>saying that "her mom is gonna pick her up for school and she doesn't wanna be late".damn
>>217414258It's just work, it's only gay if you get a boner>>217414253It must be different with your relatives because you love them, I didn't see a single one of mine get that old because>grandma on mom side died falling on her head, was perfectly fine before>grandpa on mom side died of cancer at 71 when I was 4>Pop side grandma Park and grandpa no idea because my dad died when he was 45 and they stopped seeing my mom ever since
>>217414325Yeah it felt pretty bad because it was at the beginning, I wasn't used to dementia being like that. Maximum respect for those people, but I'm not too eager to reach 90 now.
>>217413108Yes,
>>217413108Parkinson's, you get dementia AND mobility issues as well
>>217414505Thanks, I couldn't remember what it was called.
>>217414505Not so fast.>FTD-ALSLook it up. That's what pic related had. She went from actress-model-artist to hurr durr fucking drooling retard shrieking and hitting people and dead in under 24 months.
>>217414212>fast track into hundreds of fields because it looks good to employers >fast track to any trade job/union because it looks good to employers>possibility of learning valuable skill that will start a career immediately after discharge >short list for government/municipal jobs>free schooling Nta but I can hear you breathing and seething from here
>>217414804Nice, where can I enlist?
If I saw him I'd be all like "WELCOME TO THE PARTY, PAL" and he would just stare off confused, disappointed possibly.
>>217414686ALS is my most feared degenerative disease, I'll take being a confused retard with dementia over that shit any day. The worst part is it runs in my family, my great grandfather had it, so I'm pretty fucking nervous desu.
ngl, i hope i get dementia. i can't wait to be old and racist and trying to kick people
>>217413990they were both raging alcoholics for many decades. It really destroys your brain. Imagine what happens to you when youre one of these weird zoomoids that have no friends or kids and you grow old and get demented and put it a house of horrors public care home. I would watch that series.
>>217414912dont ever fast, too much fasting/malnitrition can trigger ALS
>>217414221exercising too much causes more systemic inflammation than not doing. it. John Lydons wife died of alzheimers and he said she always ate a healthy diet and exercised while he smoked and ate butter (nicotine protects your brain in small doses)
Bruce Willis was diagnosed with dementia
>>217413334
>>217415432It all boils down to genetics and luck. You have people who are not only alive in their 100s, but mentally adequate on top of it, and then you have people in their 20s and 30s who die or become vegetables due to the most random illnesses and disabilities.
>>217413080>>217413096Are we talking about President Trump again?
I once knew an old woman (silent generation) who worked in a factory in WW2. She had dementia and whenever are car with a bad muffler drove down the street she would panic because she thought it was a German air raid.
>>217413080>meanwhile Iggy Pop who is 8 years older and done all the dope in the world is still alive and finethe human body is weird
>>217413289>need continuous medical intervention to live. he just needs someone to give him foodthat is called incapacity. if they stop feeding him he will die, and he is unable to feed himself. That is legally no different from needing machines to keep your heart beating. Ask anyone with a living will and health care POA
>>217413108Having the nuclear codes and a tiny dick
>>217413080they're all fucking terrible and a hell of a way to go, but which would be worse to get?alzheimers which is what most people imagine when they hear dementia, lewey body dementia which is what robin williams had and killled himself rather than lose his brain from, or frontotemporal dementia which is what bruce willis has?they are all similar but differ in little ways that makes them equally shitty but in different ways
>>217415358in the future 99.999% of healthcare workers in any developed formerly white country will be indian or blackjust take me out back and shoot me rather than let that happen to me
>>217413108being spotted browsing 4chan in public
>>217415652Any of the above really. At that point death is preferable because you're not there to experience anything, regardless if you remember who you are or not.
>>217413108the strange thing is by the time you've really got it, you don't know or understand the world anymore so you can't comprehend it
>>217415652
>>217414057Top KEK
>>217413108Two dementias.
>>217413990Yep. There's a really fucked up and scary interview a few years later with his wife. She describes how he was deteriorating more and more every month before he went out on his own terms.
>>217413108Ultra Giganigga dementia
>>217415727Bros, those symptoms for Lewy Body Dementia and Vascular Dementia already describe me
>>217415749robin knew something was wrong with his brain but didn't know what. that's fucking terrifying to me
>>217415777lmao i was just thinking the samerobin williams would completely forget his lines and have no idea why, they were just gone. he'd get really scared over something out of nowhere and not know why, and he couldn't sleephe never admitted it, but his wife believed he got hallucinationsjust kill me if that happens
>>217413080Yeah everything you thought life was about changes really quickly when you realize how fast your body falls apart. The body peaks at about 24-25yo, and after that its all downhill from there, with a steep dropoff at the end that can come at any time based on fucking anything and everything in your life and the world. It really makes having kids only to subject them to the same fate seem cruel and pointless.
>>217413080>According to Heming, as his condition progressed, Willis's family made the decision to have him live in a separate, one-story home designed to accommodate his needs and provide a calm environment.[102][109][103] This arrangement was intended to prioritize the well-being of their two daughters, Mabel Ray and Evelyn Penn, ensuring they have a stable home life while still maintaining close contact with their father.[103][110] Willis resides in this home with a full-time care team, and his family visits him regularly, often for meals and quality time.[111][102] Despite the separation, the family emphasizes that the home remains filled with love, care, and laughter, reflecting their commitment to supporting Willis through his health challenges.[102][112]His family literally dumped him in a separate home and visit him for meals because it's so bad and they can't take it anymore
>>217413080Yeah that shit sucks. My mom has it plus is a drug addict on top of it. I think my father is some other type of crazy too. Watching them change into a different person is a pretty fucked up thing to have to go though.
I was in Die Hard?
