I watched one video by this guy which was supposed to be about him criticizing Scarlett Johansson. He proceeded to completely get her career wrong, like literally zero research, it would've taken one google search to her filmography to see her first important role was when she was ~13 years old, that she had child roles earlier than that, and that she didnt break into acting by being a bimbo. He appeared to literally only be aware that she was Black Widow in Iron Man 2 & Avengers. He then attempted to give a history of film that showed he had no idea what anything like the Hays Code was for example. He had obviously never actually read about the subject at all. How many people have watched this video and assumedly others and now just believe a whole sheet of made up shit about film and actors' careers?

Since the consolidation of right wing media messaging in 1980, they have used liberal and left as synonyms interchangeably, when that is very much not the case whatsoever. Left and right are well defined ideologies. Conservative refers to conserving the status quo and narrowing the acceptable set of ideas around it. Liberal literally means “many”, adheres to no ideology but rather entertains as many ideas as possible while being beholden to as few as possible. That the left used to be the more open and accepting of differences made the liberals favor them ideologically, but the lefts liberalism has reduced drastically, becoming less and less tolerant of opposing views. Where we used to rave right and left wing liberals, right wing media has used every news moment to rally round the flag the right into conservatism. That is entirely your own failure, nobody did that to you but your own propagandists. As for the remaining liberals, though we’re not enamored by what the left has become, the right hasnt been any more inviting, having grown even more militant and intolerant since 9/11, Gay rights & Obama. When I used the term liberal, I was more referring to certain meme ideas of the word, not actual political defined specific ideologies and the changing face of them. We have a group of people who generally, by a modernised meme version of the word, were consumerist nerds who revelled in the modern state with specific positive attitudes around race, sex, sexuality etc, who at a certain point shifted over the direction of their franchises, especially in the 2010s. But they don't actually want a shift in society, a society which benefitted their manchild consumerist ideas, they are essentially upset over not growing up, living in nostalgia and won't move on; whilst their franchises are ruined by producers and political ideologies. We're talking about two different things.
