I never bought one but literally everyone at work and all my friends did. They were everywhere for a a couple of months. I played with dozens despite never owning one. It reminded me of pogs from the 90s. Just some dumb collected plastic novelty that was nevertheless a fun fad to enjoy. It was the last era of capitalism that still cared about capitalizing on the human bond, even though it was already well after any semblance of good times.
