Yes, a retarded fat guy spilling chili he worked extra hard on that everyone wouldve loved is hilarious. Learn to laugh at life instead of have a stick up your ass

I'm sorry, but I just never found The Office funny. I've tried to watch episodes, and it's not like they don't have a funny joke here and there, but this shit is so fucking mid, it's like incredible. Contrast this with early Always Sunny, My Name is Earl, Malcolm in the Middle, and this is the show that gets a billion seasons and makes Steve Carell a megastar? I don't know, man, it's not for me.

>compare ok stuff to gold
>"wtf why isnt this gold?"

>ok stuff
Nigger, literally every millennial acts like The Office is the greatest thing ever invented. Like, you do know that it is Netflix's most watched show, right? Even today after it has been off of the platform in the US for YEARS. It had over 50 billion minutes watched.

He said it's okay and he's right. it's okay. Some seasons are funny, putting Jim and Pam together was the dumbest mistake ever that's what happens when you have female writers
>>
>>217420792
I never hear anybody talk about The Office like it’s a masterpiece. More just that it has such broad fundamental appeal that its hard to dislike unless you just resent its popularity.
>>
>>217420565
I can't fucking believe people are still talking about The Office and Parks & Rec so many years later. They're just fucking lowest common denominator sitcoms. It's like when boomers obsess over Friends and Seinfeld. Fucking why? Sitcoms constantly come and go, they're cheap and expendable. Caring about them like they're not just the fast food of TV is beyond my comprehension. Anyone who cares about this shit needs to grow the fuck up

>boohoo life isn't fair
Kys

>>217420848
Constantly quoting it, posting memes, thousands attending conventions just to see one fucking lame ass character from the show that isn't any of the major stars? That's not worship?
>>
>>217420851
>Parks & Rec
I haven't ever heard anyone talking about P&R on /tv/

>Malcolm in the Middle: Life's Still Unfair, premiering April 10, 2026

It's the modern Seinfeld.
On paper It's good, but something about the setting and delivery just make it boring

The problem with a lot of Americans is that they watch television shows, whether they are watching them over the course of many years or binging them all at once, and they feel their emptiness as a result of a lack of a social life or whatever being filled by these shows and their characters. Then the shows end and that emptiness returns. So they binge some more and binge some more and binge some more and binge some more. They literally watch these shows the same way that some weaboos play JRPGs. They feel that these people are actually their friends, which is why they feel betrayed when certain plot points don't go where they want them to or when the series don't end in the way that they want them to.

I watched Parks and Rec start to finish, and i honestly cant remember anything significant about it. At least the Office i remember some parts
>>
>>217420865
We have small threads here and there but they usually don't last long.

>>217420621
>if i write out the joke, it is no longer funny! Checkmate atheists
>>
>>217420565
Do Americans really carry around cans of warm shit when at the office? Aren't they allowed to go to the toilet during the day?
>>
>>217420865
There is a thread complaining about Nick Offerman's P&R character on the catalogue at this very moment.
>>
>>217420851
For me it's Home Improvement
>>
>>217420916
The amount of characters and scenes you need to fast forward over is staggering. Half of them (the Indian, Rob Lowe) are just playing themselves and the other half are caricatures that would never exist. Chris Pratt is a grown man eating off frisbees and pretending to be an FBI agent and doesn’t understand what 2% milk is.
