Does anyone else find it a bit weird how these various Western-Japanese productions (this, Tokyo Vice etc) always portray Japs as suicide elementals who are always a hair's breadth from being triggered into honorable seppuku and will take every opportunity to do it with no hesitation?Maybe I'm just too far removed from the reality of Japan and Japanese history to buy it, but it feels unconvincing to me.
