The plot in this movie makes zero sense. Its really just a "rule of cool" movie with cool scenes and action pieces with a disjointed and incoherent plot about Angels and Demons waging a sort of Cold War for the souls of man.

Saying "it makes more sense in the comics" isnt a valid argument either bc the movie has to stand on its own.
