Beyond that, Lawrence gradually becomes more Arab as the movie goes on, even making an illogical decision to attack a fleeing convoy at the end in the name of revenge. That being said, the Arabs do have issues and are clearly unable to organize into a proper government, hence their failure to hold Damascus
