Covid lockdowns especially concerning assisted living facilities vindicated 28 Weeks for me. I used to think it was too unbelievable to think the people in charge would fuck up enough to lock a bunch of people up together in one spot during an outbreak but welp there ya go.

I actually kind of agree that the first one was better, but not by much. I just liked how that one sucked you back into the world of post-rage virus spreading and it felt very tribal in a way. I know you could argue the plot was all over the place, but the world and these people in the commune were all interesting to watch along with Spike being a fun protagonist to watch.

Second one did expand on the Jimmy one and actually move forward with the plot in ways I didn't expect, but were exciting to see. Cannot wait to see the 3rd one when it releases.
