Just finished. Had a blast, this is a fucking wacky movie. Until the very last moment it's kind of hard to know who you're supposed to be rooting for, they make the "heroes" so stupid and repellent. If you have a hard time with nogs in movies you're going to have a hard time with this because they're everywhere and constantly "bitch ass mothafuckin nigga" every second, but they're also getting unceremoniously slaughtered left and right, so it's a weird balance, lol. It's legitimately hard to tell if the movie hates black people or not. This is such a crazy mix of vibes and styles and careens wildly from cool to stupid and back without warning, and it's also hard to tell when it's doing it on purpose or not, lol. I loved Justin Long's sweaty, wild-eyed performance, he's running nonstop during the second half. Very refreshing to see something this weird and genre coming from a major studio, I'll definitely watch it again sometime.

Just finished Dog Soldiers (2002). Great practical effects, good action, it takes itself just seriously enough so that the characters aren't retarded. It's an easy werewolf kino recommendation for those who like that
