Wrong. Even as a kid I thought it was really overhyped and overblown. I detected that it was the platonic ideal of a movie that adults wanted kids to see, and because of that I resented it and did not enjoy it. It felt like I was obligated to like it, and that made me hate it. I liked Hercules and Prince of Egypt way more.
