Downloading Frontiers of Pandora. Looking forward to playing it. If it's good I'll get DLC most likely.
>>217439224Just get past the opening then have fun exploring. Everytime i boot up the game, i just end up running around and flying around the world.
Took my mother to go see Avatar FaA in normal screening. Was curious to see it in 3D next, only to see ticket was almost $30. Sorry, Jimbo!
>>217439335Yeah my interest is just exploring the world and being in it. I had a hankering for more because of the movie. I wanted to see more of Pandora.
>So far as he is able, a Prince should stick to the path of good. But, if the necessity arises, he should know how to follow evil. -Niccolo MachiavelliIt would be interesting to explore what kind of internal conflict Tonowari might struggle with going forward. Jake has clearly demonstrated that the only chance the Na'vi, reef and forest alike, have in winning the war is to use sky people weapons. But if that happens then the Metkayina risk poisoning their souls from using metal. So he has to struggle with the choice to stick to tradition or to risk damning this generation to save future ones.

>you got any extra bikkies?
I feel like Jake's arc in 2 and 3 only really makes sense when you remember how much of a fuck-up he was in 1. Dude is literally utter dogshit at talking, easily falls into depression and his entire plan for everything, always, is to just wing it and hope for the best while ignoring obvious and critical consequences - this isn't even good "winging it", it's literally just him deciding to ignore everything he doesn't like so he can have temporary gratification. He never mentions the situation with the RDA wanting Home Tree because he's too busy chasing Neyriti and living his best life, even if he could easily frame the whole situation in a way where there's a distinction between him and RDA.He only becomes Toruk Makto because he's irreverent enough to take on the fucking Orange Bird, something other Na'vi could probably have done if they tried, and everything else is just Eywa Ex Machina. And then, despite having absolute knowledge that the RDA will be back eventually, he does pretty much fuck all to prepare for that eventuality in all the time between the movies, just ignoring the future in favour of just living a carefree life for now. Of course that guy is going to be depressed and angry and struggling with emotions and generally terrible when the consequences actually hit. If someone offered him a trip to a different planet to ride a Yellow Dog avatar and chase Yellow Dog Ladies he'd probably take it because fight or flight are the absolute peak of his mental capacities and it's very much flight until he's actually cornered.
Total Jaketyri supremacy.

>>217439793>hey varang>check this shit outhttps://youtu.be/_jDYcemrFOc?si=z-C1uXo_PmzG8rJF
I just saw it last night and I kind of want to see it again but I don't think it's going to be in my theater after this week. Sadly, no 2 billies.
I'm seriously considering to watch FaA 4th time in a row. With each new viewing my opinion on the movie doesn't change (it's great with some rough corners), but I formulated my personal favorite and least favorite moments. 1/2Favorite moments:>Whole Mangkwan Village sequence including montage. >Every big Jake moment. He is fantastic in this movie. >Neytiri's realization that she is about to push Jake onto wrong path at the river. Also her run at Bridgehead was peak Aliens/T2 industrial vibes. >Every Kiri/Spider moment. I just love them being protective over each other. This includes the moment of Kiri making Spider breath scene. >Tulkun conversations, both of them. Fantastic sound design. >Quatrich/Jake moments. They are oozing with chemistry.
>>2174402152/2Moments that make me cringe:>RDA characters are just very lame. General, Selfridge, whalehunter stick out like a sore thumb in comparison to Na'vi characters, or Recom characters. All scenes involving them were meh. >Doctor Garvin in particular was very poorly patched into the story, both here and in TWoW. I get that Cameron needed some sympathetic human character, but the way it was used was bad. I actually cringed during his hamfisted lines that he didn't sign for that and so on on and so on. He felt too much like a Cameron's stand in. Rodriguez, Grace, Norm, Max, Quatrich, Selfridge from Avatar 1 were so much better written in characters in comparison. >I actively cringed during Metkayina kids supporting Lo'ak during final Tulkun council. It felt like something coming from Divergent or Hunger Games. Very young adult moments in a bad way. >Overall Lo'ak plot that didn't involve Neytiri's bow and Neteyam's death was pretty weak. It's heavily the remake of TWoW one and Payakan being an exile just ran it's course before even FaA. Weak part of the script. >Ronal and Neytiri confrontation during wound treatment was cringe inducing. The scene of their bickering felt too forced to set up the pay off in the end. >Most of the final battle have lost me. I locked in only when we got to personal Sulley vs Quatrich conflict. Scale barely added anything to what we already had on the end of TWoW. It wasn't Ride of Rohirrim, more like Ready Player One crowd vs crowd finally sequence. I hope Cameron will write and direct better one for 4 and 5.This is it. Sounds like a lot of bad stuff on paper, but in the movie itself it's not enough to taint movie. Movie compensates it with the highest highs in the trilogy and overall solid director's work. And it's positively aggressive and moving energy is absolutely great.
>>217437750The great debate
>>217440246I liked what little Selfridge got to contribute, it's just that he was barely there.Scorseby and Garvin both suck and maybe the whale fatigue wouldn't be so bad if they were good characters. They're like different sides of a caricature coin. Idiotically evil capitalist, irritating fat male Lisa Simpson and no charm to either of them.
>>217437750I finally got around to seeing it.Are there any funny Killdozer memes of the biologist?
>>217440290My hiss queen Neytiri of course
>tfw no corporate qt to sell fridges with
>>217440290Neytiri is more catlike generally, Varang is more catlike while hissing without her hat.
>>217440482
>>217440347True. I also checked my own list of cons and noticed that most of them involve the plots that TWoW and FaA have overlapped. They are rough exactly where story of one movie was split in two movies. Overlapping tulkuns, overlapping Metkayina kids and Payakan, overlapping Ronal vs Neytiri. I guess an idea was to make it so FaA served as conclusion of these llots, but instead it went on far too long and became the almost dead weight. I'm thinking if Cameron made sequel a one 4 long Laurence of Arabia like movie with toilet pause in the middle after Neteyam dies, so characters could get two more hours to process and deal with his loss, it would be great. Maybe it is actually possible to make in fan edition of two movies.
>>217440290I've been a Neyhead since A1. Fuck I love Neytiri.
>>217440290Varang because she'll adapt to human lifestyle. With Neytiri you'll be eating Teylu everyday.

>>217440482Neither are cats thoughever
They should make reverse avatars so that neytiri can have a human body and kill everyone on earth
>>217440741Mangkwan do not eat human goygruel, besides Neytiri's cooking is excellent and her family loves eating it every day
Cute couple.
>>217441095One day public AI will learn to make characters tall.
>>217439530>>217439547Varang's bird looks pretty dumb when you see it in full like that.
>people complaining about Ronal fighting pregnantHaving a pregnant woman insist on fighting and then dying, orphaning her child and making her husband a widower needlessly as she only played a minor role on the battlefield, is far more based than having her stay home.Especially when that pregnant woman's whole character has been that of a domineering cunt who caused other people problems and worry.
>>217441033Cute humantiri, but Neytiri shouldn't be exposed to so much suffering
>>217439772I guess in a way eywa lucked out that someone so simple-minded like Jake stumbled into her sphere of influence. He's easy to manipulate and was quickly made into a crucial ally.
>>217440163>>217440215I'll finally have my second viewing later today :-)
>>217440215>I'm seriously considering to watch FaA 4th time in a row.So are you typing all of this in the theater lobby, or something??

are there any good AI chatbots where I can talk to Neyney, Verang or even just a generic na'vi gf
>>217441447Consider the following>Jacob dreamed a ladder to heaven, Genesis 28:12-14: He had a dream in which he saw a stairway resting on the earth, with its top reaching to heaven, and the angels of God were ascending and descending on it.There above it stood the Lord, and he said: “I am the Lord, the God of your father Abraham and the God of Isaac. I will give you and your descendants the land on which you are lying. Your descendants will be like the dust of the earth, and you will spread out to the west and to the east, to the north and to the south. All peoples on earth will be blessed through you and your offspring (Jake = Jacob, the magnetic anomaly is the ladder to heaven, his "off-spring" are doing amazing things like Lo'ak with the tulkun and Kiri with Eywa)>Later the place where he wrestled God he named in Genesis 32:30: So Jacob called the place Peniel, saying, “It is because I saw God face to face, and yet my life was spared.” (this is where Quaritch learns to see?)>Genesis 32:31: The sun rose above him as he passed Peniel, and he was limping because of his hip (Jake was limping because of the arrow in high thigh)Just grasping at straws over here :D
>>217441593Oh and one more thing>Genesis 32:26 Then the man said, “Let me go, for it is daybreak.” (the battle in Fire and Ash ends when the sun returns from behind the eclipse)
