It’s packed with tourists, but for good reason as it’s a beautiful town. Best thing is to wait until late evening when the day trippers have left and the boomer tourists have retired to their hotels, then get really high and just wander around town, popping into places for a beer whenever the mood strikes. There are some pretty cool, atmospheric bars around. Belgium, especially Flanders, is pretty good for that.
