Was this show sponsored by oil companies?

Sorry Paramount, maybe this superhero is popular or well known to Yankee-doodle-dandies, but as a Brit I've never heard of him, so I foe one won't be watching your capeslop.

(((Coal companies))) shilled against nuclear. Boomers shit their pants and demolished every nuclear plant in Europe. The perfect goyim. The same goyim are consuming this slop.
>>
Yes, yes it was.

Sunlight. Clean, pure, pristine energy blessed by the Lord.
Oil: Dirty black sludge from the depths of hell cursed by Satan.

Plants live of the sun, animals graze on the plants and man graze on plants and animals. The sun is the Lords way of providing!!! Rejecting solar power is tantamount to rejecting Him!

>1:3 And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.
Hallelujah!!!!

Both are bad. "Green" energy is a scam that almost causes more harm to the environment than the fucking coal industry and is highly inefficient (plus anyone who still buys into manmade climate change at this point is basically on par with a flat-earther), and oil is too limited and accident-prone. Nuclear is the future and most of the counterarguments against it don't even apply anymore, since the nuclear waste problem was effectively solved 20 years ago and meltdowns like in Chernobyl literally cannot happen in modern plants.

The show itself is still pretty boring though and I feel like the cast is wasted on it.

Only nuclear and hydroelectric power is good, the rest is just trash

You should watch Goliath, it's a much deeper show with its meta references despite not dealing with oil.

The show is constantly showing how shady the oil business is.

>green causes more harm
This is a very tired and old shitpost. You act like you're above mining propoganda yet spew out their continued bullshit as coal is soon to be non profit and now they want to jump on nuclear
>you think nuclear is bad
Its expensive. Especially compared to solar and wind

But by all means posts all your graphs which conveniently ignore what it takes to dig the fucking things from the ground.
>>
>>217443434
I wasn't advocating for coal either. You import most of your energy from extremely dirty countries, guaranteed.
>>
>>217443564
Green energy being inefficient is a wildy retarded statement. Yes nuclear is ridiculous and while I do not think it is a shit idea you need to take into consideration how unbelievably expensive it is. And how corrupt everything is. Look at Australia, 600 billion dollar nuclear plan that cost the party an election and caused a mining multi billionaire to have a meltdown publicly about it. Solar and wind are fine, you are just mind broken from 30 years of the media telling you its gay.

>t. Electrical engineer.
>>
>>217443606
solar is fine but wind is inefficient, expensive and kills birds.
>>
>>217443634
>50% eff.
>nothing compared to nuclear
>giant holes in the ground don't affect any wildlife only le big windmills do

Like I said, completely and utterly mindbroken by the media. Enjoy my last (You)

renewable isn't bad it's just less reliable and more expensive than oil right now.
need to remove the dumbass stigma around nuclear and invest. though with all the anti-immigrant shit idk who is going to be running a nuclear plant in the US anytime soon.

What the fuck is wrong with the wife and daughter? Is this one of them Family Guy skits? Because no woman even the queen of fucking gold diggers don't act like that?
>>
Yeah its propaganda. Which sucks because Billy Bob is megabased but the show is slop
>>
Sling blade and ExxonMobil hooked up! Need it or keep it?
>>
>>217443434
>Its expensive
Government regulation, designed to make nuclear impossible, is what makes it expensive
>>
>>217442441
That first episode with the windfarm is incredibly slick propaganda. It's wrong and untrue, but presented so well, and is so close to being true, that anyone deconstructing it would instantly trigger defensiveness for attacking something people enjoyed, and they'd seem like an annoying pedant for correcting such minor alterations to the truth. They even made it so it could be cut down to a montage of 3 second clips for maximum exposure in shortform media. Seriously, that shit should be deconstructed and studied.

The most expensive part of nuclear are the upfront costs, but once you have a plant up and running, it’s not outrageously costly to maintain. Wind and Solar are cheaper to build, but they’re not reliable. Nuclear produces a steady stream of power at any time of day in any weather.

>being honest
Being knowledgeable and not brainwashed is as vitally important. Wind turbines last twenty to twenty five years maximum and then they are completely torn down and rebuilt with new materials. The old material cannot be recycled as it's hardness makes it far too costly to grind down into reusable pieces. So, the wind turbine is dismantled using the same massive machinery used to construct it, and the pieces are hauled away using the same fleet of 18-wheelers that brought the material out there. Only then more machines are needed to bury the material in massive specialized landfills where the material leeches out deadly toxins for over two decades.
>>
Pretty sure in that tv show they said both are bad
>>
>>217442799
Yeah how's coal doing now?
That's not the reason nuclear wasn't accepted. It was attacked by the same people who are now promoting "green" energy.
Basically a bunch of leftist scammers who want to extract money from the energy companies.

>Too much CO2 in the atmosphere?
>No problem, you are now advanced enough as a civilization to build giant solar panels in space that block enough sun rays to cool down the Earth accordingly while harvesting power from it

There, I just solved climate change
