>>217443351Books: Two towers > Fellowship of the ring > Return of the king Movies: Return of the king > Fellowship of the ring > Two towers Those 150-200 pages where the group of Frodo, Sam, and Gollum have adventures in Two towers is unforgettable and the best of LOTR but they barely adapted it. Return of the king movie took out those 150 pages after Sauron was defeated of characters saying goodbye to each other with zero conflict at all.
>>217443351Awful opinion.
>>217443351I like when girls are a little but chubby like thisAnyways.>>217444375 Comparing the books is not really relevant. Then you might as well treat them as six books and thats a ranking of its own.Moviewise, Rotk will always be king. Fotr is definitely the best "movie" from a technical and narratological standpoint and it also shines from having the fellowship all together.Everything regarding Rohan in TTT is stellar, but it drags at parts and the scenes with Gollum are just happening, compared to the Ents in Isengard or Helms deep.Meanwhile, Rotk is the resolution, it brings the fellowship together again, it has the strongest stand alone moments, Rohan is STILL stellar, you get my point. I have said this many times before but just the single scene of "I cant carry it for you, but I can carry you" is enough to rank it above every other movie ever made.
