Calling himself the machine is basically the first episode of arrested development where they all think there's some guy named Hermano.The signature joke is like 10 minutes which is 9 minutes too long. The movie was not a 90 minute version of this joke. It was 2 and a half hours. And it has Mark Hamill.And it's not good at all.
