Can be a little corny at times but overall a pretty good Western drama. Wish we had more Westerns that touched on the Mormon theocracy during westward expansion.
It's surprisingly brutal and well made.

Demonized frontier Mormons a bit too much, but it was well-made and well-acted.

The part where the Morman woman apologizes to the squaw for the white man's violence after seeing her sister wives get their throats cut and being kept captive was really something.
Watch Hell on Wheels or How the West was Won instead.
