I decided to get into movies recently and i watched in that order
>three~ish months ago
no country for old men
>the last two weeks
apocalypse now
the bad guys(a kid's movie)
12 angry men

out of these i enjoyed 12 angry men the most, the bad guys wasn’t simulating but it was enjoyable enough, no country of old men and apocalypse now on the other hand both felt pointless to me, no country for old men at least was somwhat interesting but apocalypse now felt dull from beginning to end except for maybe 1 scene.
what does that mean? do i have a particular taste which is why i enjoyed the latter two while finding the former two uninteresting? because i heard they were all great movies so i assumed they would all at least be interesting.

You seem to have a womans taste so try something like the Titanic I guess.

I don't know. I personally Love Apocalypse Now and didn't much care for No Country for Old Men and 12 Angry Men, I found the latter to be especially overrated and dull.
I recommend Billy Wilder's movies, might be your taste. Specifically The Apartment
