You get naked when you go to bed, when you bathe, of course, and when you take a shit, it's best to remove most clothes (shit splashes everywhere, really, it's so much easier to manage when there's no possibility of it getting on any nearby fabric). Now that I think about it, I thank god that I have never been fat. I have no idea how fat people live with themselves. Having to deal with all of those ungainly clothes, wiping, all of it. They seem never to be able to get that unbathed chese smell of of themselves which, if allowed to persist for a few more days, would turn toward homeless smell.

But(t) naked, just sitting at home, even in the summer? No, of course not! In the dead of winter, like now, one wants to keep a layer. I like to feel that something is on me. To be entirely without clothes is like being a cat with nothing to grab onto. You will be disoriented, distressed, and lash out for something, anything.

It feels weird at first but then you get used to being naked. It eventually starts to feel more comfortable than wearing clothes. I actually prefer it now. When I get home from work I take everything off and sit on a towel that I change out regularly.

I did that for a few days the first time I lived alone and the novelty wore off pretty quickly. Wearing clothes is more comfortable than being naked.
