Zero tension: the show. I could go on and describe each episode, but this show was flat.

First scene:
>In the show we see Carrie Anne Moss in bar, why is she there, who cares, its day time, people in there, fight ensues, she dies, we saw who killed her. Little tension, little build up, who cares?
My rewrite to show you how easy it is to improve:
>Carrie Anne Moss is on planet, dispute happening, hip shot of her lightsabre. Tension building. But resolved peacefully, the Jedi way. End of day, getting dark. She starts returning to the settlement when she is met on the road by a hooded warrior, fight ensues, warrior uses threat of harming passerby to kill Carrie, similar to how the show did it.
My quick rewrite turns a scene set in a brightly lit pub into a moody mystery that doesn't reveal the killer and plays into the Jedi themes. It is that simple. Instead we get so much stuff resolved too quickly to ever really matter or build.
