Nobody would dress like this.
They're clowns. We're supposed to laugh at them.
Leonard and Sheldon have realistic fits
I stopped wearing my Green Lantern shirts because of this show.
My dad really likes this show, when he marathoned it for the first time he started watching again from the beginning without a break. And my sister really likes young Sheldon despite never watching the original show
>>217462385I share an office with Physics PhD students and they pretty much dress like Sheldon and Leonard
>>217462583Some key details are out of sync. Sheldon has a long t under his t? He's got a large stainless steel watch rather than a Casio? Leonard got a non-fishing vest with a perfect fit for his hoodie?
>>217462623>Sheldon has a long t under his t?yeah this was very popular
>>217462623This. It’s always been nerd face.>>217462583You are the same tards that said at the time >nerds actully act like thisIt it was never even close.
>>217462623are you 12? people commonly did all of these things at the time.
My brother regularly complains that this show makes fun of smart people and that offends him as a highly intelligent person. You can feel the awkward silence after he says this yet he has no self awareness.
>>217462748Nerds didn't.
I know this is /tv/ and not /fa/ but I am a seasoned /fa/g and I can assure you these are outfits that exist in the real world. Most of Leonard and Sheldons fits are pretty basic. Especially for the mid 2000’s and 2010’s. Raj can be eccentric at times but as someone who lives in the Midwest with a large Indian community, I see guys in my apartment complex dressed like season 1-5 Raj all the time. Howard is probably the most outlandish but he’s catering more to 60’s and 70’s aspects of fashion with the big collars and especially the haircut. I saw many groups of incel kids in college that looked pretty much like these retards lol. Fashion spectrum is crazy, people will wear anything if they believe they look cool.
>>217463316>I see guys in my apartment complex dressed like season 1-5 Raj all the time.damn, I wish I had your Indians
>>217462385I used to dress pretty similar to Sheldon
>>217463360Midwest Indians man. They’re a different breed. I don’t live in an “Indian community” per-say, but there’s 1 or 2 big families that live in my complex and they most certainly are all in tech or work at an office all day. A lot of quarter zips with button ups and crazy print shirts all the time. Usually corduroy and some sort of slip on shoe. I should buy one of them some checkered vans slip ons so I can just essentially watch someone cosplay Raj
>>217463316I would say long sleeve shirt under t-shirt is more 90s than 2000s
>>217463419It gained popularity in the 90’s for sure, but super big in the 2000’s too. Look at some old Bam margera fits, or Drake from Drake and Josh was doing it too, and a lot of skate companies actually released shirts with the long sleeve part sewed in LMAO. Super 2000’s if you ask me.
>>217463316You're bullshitting if you saw "incels" with the outfits of the middle two. Anyone who goes out dressed like that doesn't give a fuck about what other people think, which is opposite of incels.
>>217462385Thats the joke, they are autists who have no idea how to dress
>>217463485Do you not understand how fashion works? Not everyone is trying to impress or “dOnT GivE a FuCk” some people just wear what they believe to be the correct outfit for them and don’t think anything of it. Wearing a patterned button up and a zip up that don’t match from an objective fashion standpoint is not uncommon. I will say I didn’t really see anyone dressed LIKE Howard, but as someone who was around in the 2000’s I saw a lot of bowl cuts with retarded shirts to match and I 100% saw Indians and white kids dressed like Raj and Leonard. You do realize these shows hire costume designers with years of experience and a vast knowledge of what the characters would wear based on their traits. But you don’t care anyways. I’ll go back to /fa/.
>>217463559How am I supposed to dress and do my hair in my 40s? I've barely changed anything since my late 20s
>>217462385Yeah where are the new balance shoes and cargo pants and non-descript t-shirts?These nerds are supposed to be literally me, not some colorful and entertaining cast of characters with fulfilling careers, friends, and relationships! This is nerd blackface!
>>217463633Isn't Sheldon wearing cargo pants?
>>217463559>You do realize these shows hire costume designers with years of experience and a vast knowledge of what the characters would wear based on their traits. It's very clear you know nothing about TV lmao. Costume designer might have some idea but the director will just pick whatever looks funniest.
>>217463631Let go of everything. Re invent. Think about proportions and not color. If you haven’t changed anything since your 20’s, that probably means you’re just hanging on to the last good years of your life. But that’s not always a bad thing. I’m guilty of it myself and still have a few graphic tees from when I was in HS/College that still fit me. But if you’re genuinely struggling just try shaved head if your skull isn’t a fucked up shape. Shaved head is super kino rn and you will have plenty young hot ladies you got some good menswear looks and shaved head. Hope this helps, anon. I believe in you. Come to /fa/ sometime we would love to have you.
>>217463672>It's very clear you know nothing about TV lmao.>thinks random directors of episodes choose the casts costumes
>>217463717If you're making it like it's a slop production where the director doesn't care, then the costume designer probably isn't that talented either but just some nepobaby who picks what looks funny.
