>In Goldmember Austin timetravels back 27 years>If the movie had come out today Austin would be timetraveling back to 1999
>>217462596I rewatched these movies, the second one is a masterpiece, the first one was ok, the third one had a lot of good jokes but some felt too forced. I think they ran out of steam and that's why it ended there.

>>217462596Based janny finally did the needful.
>>217463814Is the irony not lost on them
>>217463814everyone was bisexual in the 60's
>>217462596The blackjack scene is one of the funniest scenes in film history
>>217463141I recently rewatched the movies and the third one felt a bit all over the place. Going back to the 70s and bringing back his dad and Foxxy like its nothing. They don't really play up the era like they did with the second movie.
>>217463141I thought the first one was a masterpiece. The 2nd one was very good too but reused some of the same jokes.
>>217463141It's a bit tricky to keep such comedy going. The new Naked Gun is on prime video. Some jokes are good, but I feel a lot were way too forced, and many will age terribly because they're just pathetic current references not actual jokes.
>>217463814Remember when we pretended that being gay wasn't a choice?
>>217462596is it just me or has this entire series been memory-holed. no cultural impact etc etc. and it was crazy popular back in the late 90s.
