Nips atleast take their work seriously and you can get actual psychological thriller shit to watch that some guys actually slaved over frame by frame. There's dumb ass horrible animes too but even slice of life teen age girls shows have more soul than western stuff.

Wouldn´t call them adult cartoons though, i mean, i may call Archer an adult cartoon but Vox Machina is basically Whedon tier (when that meant something). Like story lines and characters are enjoyable, decently good action, some quips and occasionally some slightly darker moments and whatnot. Then again that may have to do with perception. I am not familiar with what kids watch these days but a few years ago they could have watched this kind of stuff no problem.
