They could have saved this show if Jonas and Martha accidentally caused the Tannhaus car crash by trying to prevent it and closed the loop. The end was such a cop out.

Why would anyone ever care about bone-dry Martha in the first place? In fact most of the characters in the show suck, with some notable exceptions. It's like if Twin Peaks was all mystery but no charm.

Jonas was only in for it because of the incest, they originally wanted to include a classic German scat fetish but the Netflix execs were too prudish.

Every episode is "omg we can't change anything" and "I can't believe I just did that thing I knew was going to happen."

I tried watching this show because of how much /tv/ anons talked it up and was disappointed, I should've known better than to trust anon AND Netflix.

>last five minutes is more of the time travel stuff to cliff-hanger you in to watching the next episode
>rinse and repeat
Granted I only watched a few episodes but goddamn did it seem like a CW show to me. I didn't see the appeal.

It's unbelievable how much time and effort the characters spend in order to make their past selves follow the exact same steps they did. Most time travel media follow either predestination or free will, some like Legacy of Kain introduce paradoxes as loopholes, but this is some weird, pointless self-serving shit.
