Depends on what you think of his portrayal of Robert McKee in "Adaptation," bearing in mind McKee cast him. Nothing really cunty about his Hannibal Lecter either.
>>
>>217470100
He was still kind of cunty in that, threatening to pistol whip the next person to say “Shenanigans”.

Is he talking trash now just cos Stacy Keach, Rod Steiger etc are dead?
>>
>>217469986
Yeah he often tells us how good McDonald's is.

Keach and Steiger were apparently Malibu bros from the beginning. Rod seems like the absolute opposite of a laid-back California beach bum but there you have it. Keach never shit talked anyone and took a punch on-set like a man. Not a theater "punch," an actual haymaker in "Fat City" that knocked him cold (it's in the movie). Steiger's only gripe with another actor was having to do a key dramatic scene in "On the Waterfront" where he's talking to Brando but Marlon decided he was done for the day so Rod's lecturing an empty back seat. "I didn't talk to him for 20 years," he said later after they reconciled.
Cox isn't in their league. Oh, he's up there in terms of acting skill, but not the kind of film experience the other two had by his age.
