This season the questions will finally be answered
>>
>>217470552
This is the most crowded poster ever
>>
>>217470552
the only question that needs answering:
is there anyone left actually watching this shit?
>>
>>217470604
How about we change the subject...
>>
>>217470552
WAAAAAAAAAAALT
>>
>>217470552
THIS time, it's all gonna be answered, I'm sure.
>>
only one question answered per season
>>
>>217470589
I hope the S4 poster is better.
>>
I don't remember last season.
>>

What do executive producers even do?
>>
>>217472251
Depends. You have the showrunner, who is usually the creator. They do much of the work in content creation. Another aspect of the job is the day-to-day grind of making sure the days agenda gets done. This is sometimes split between two people.

But you can be EP and also do absolutely nothing at all, usually if your work is derived from something else you've done. Like how Nolan was EP on everything following MoS because he wrote some of it.

Preggo bitch gives birth and jap ghost steals baby, babby turns out to be the smile monster being reborn and Walt gets to witness it. Tech nerd plays violin in the woods and summons man in yellow. Julie runs away from man in yellow and runs into her dad, then man in yellow kills him and it cuts to black.

Yep. I'll see you all in April for the shitposting. That's the one redeeming thing we have still watching this show.
>>
>>217472389
You missed out the fact that it's actually Julie from the future trying to stop her dad getting killed.

exec producer is the money man. he works for the studio and is there to make sure their investment gets a return. he decides how much gets spent on what and when, but usually delegates most of his work to lower level producers. basically he says you guys should be able to take this pile of money and turn it into a bigger pile of money by a factor of between X and Y, where X >1 and Y>X.
producers work for the exec(s). one or more may be what people call show runners. they (and their staff) coordinate the studio time, the sets, the wardrobe, the technical teams, the carpenters, electricians, lighting, camera guys, audio guys, effects guys, editing guys, etc., etc., etc., right on down to the catering and maid service. many studios/production cos have established relationships with certain companies that provide one or more services (i.e., cameramen or audio teams), or offer in-house services (carpenters, electricians, maids) at the expense of the production.
often, the producers/showrunners determine the look and feel of a show. they work hand-in-hand with directors and the talent and say this is what this show will be. they may or may not take input from either. they may let a director take charge, like when they let jewjew abrams run amok on something because they trust his vision and his mystery boxes, or in the case of a longer-running show where there may be many directors from ep to ep, they may take no input and just say here's the show we want, here's a storyboard, we have the costumes, the props, we booked studio time for these scenes, closed outdoor sets for the others, it should take two weeks of filming, so we have to have the raw footage by the 19th and get it to our editing team so the episode can air on the 14th the month after next.

Actually its Julie from the future that tries to safe her dad

They've been answering questions since season 2. Stop using season 1 memes. If anything the fanbase wants them to STOP answering questions it's getting annoying.
>>
the threads will be good
