Pearl came out in 2022.

Haven't seen it but the original is pretty good. Check that one out instead.

I watched weapons this weekend and holy shit, that ending was hillarious.
I was an enjoyable horror mystery but that ending was so absurd and comedic.
>>
>>217473032
I was in tears laughing so hard at that scene in the theater, especially when those kids demolish the living room.
>>
>>217473124
For me it started when the dad tosses the homeless guy around, after 3 times it just becomes comedy.

I've never seen this movie but I like this girls face
She looks like someone you'd see in a 1970s horror movie, she has whatever the opposite of iphone face is

The movie is actually decent and Goth has some brilliant parts.
The other two in the series don't come close, just watch Pearl by itself.

I find this weird cuz I really liked like 70% of X and turned Pearl off 10 minutes in.
X has such good dialogue and cinematography (the fucking croc scene for example). The only problem is that it gets real generic when the kills start happening, but I feel like the first half of the film makes it worth watching.
>>
>>217473683
I've pretty much come to the same conclusion.
>>
>>217473735
Ah I'd have another crack at Pearl then, I can see why you'd turn it off but the drama is it's strong point.
The croc did rock.

it's a movie that switches between mockumentary and standard cinema. Horror in the High Desert is a better newer mocumentary.
if you liked Deadstream then definitely watch Dashcam though.
>>
>>217474525
I've put off watching Dashcam for ages so I might just go with that. All I know is some anons prefer Annie to Chrissy cuz of her chud rap lol
>>
>>217474762
I have a feeling Annie is autistic but she is pretty talented. I watched a vid on youtube and she really does just wander around freestyle rapping

What do you guys consider the absolute scariest movies out there? Like not just in the horror genre and gory or whatever, but the kind of shit you would be apprehensive about putting on late at night because it genuinely creeps you out. I want to return to that childhood feeling of being scared enough that I dread seeing my reflection in the tv because something might be behind me.

More like checking when your microwavable tikka masala is ready.

Anyways, I was quite surprised when I found out Pet Sematary was directed by a woman. Mid movie but still, it's something.
