as a big fan of the Dracula book I appreciate that Eggers took the opportunity to bring in elements that few direct adaptations ever do, but yeah it felt hamstrung by being a Nosferatu remake
I also appreciate that the Count is explicitly depicted as a servant of the Devil and Thomas is saved from becoming a slave to Orlock by Orthodox Catholic nuns
