I live in Asia, and all the women I know hate Hollywood's girlboss movies, especially when the female lead is written to be a cunt or arrogant. It feels like something Hollywood is forcing on audiences. So I'm curious, is this what Western foids actually want to see? It seems counterproductive to make films that the audience dislikes.

they were created by and for western women and they were popular up until 2019 until the bottom collapsed.

They are an accurate portrayal of the ideal corporate woman and their personality. A lot of modern media feels like it's made by and for HR women.

Isn't capeshit audience supermajority male?

No one likes these and people who claim they do don't watch or are a very small minority. Hollywood fell for the people screaming the loudest and now they're infested.

I didn't just mean Captain Marvel. that was just one example of the 'girlboss' character type. But even movies that are specifically aimed at women, like Mulan, have these traits, and all the women I know in Asia can't stand them.

Women in the industry write them as a power fantasy for themselves. They assume other women will want to go with it and that male consumers can basically be guilt-tripped into supporting it since "You don't want to be a sexist, do you?"

Just watch a bunch of Price is Right episodes from the 1970s and 1980s on YouTube to see what real actual women used to act like.
