At least in 5 you have the characters (the natove woman) do things lol. And the visual things can be copied. You also already have a movie with just puzzles and shooting that can be just done by the stories

We’ve had a dozen awful Resident Evil games just for Hollywood to completely ignore Resident Evil 2 and how perfect an adaptation of it would be for James Cameron. And not only would it have been a perfect match in every conceivable way but it would’ve filled in the gap between titanic and avatar where he didn’t make any movies, thus giving him another potential masterpiece.
